Introduction
In our society we have always put a very large emphasis on plagiarism. Everyone knows that it's wrong and that it is something that should not be done ever.As I am sure most of you also think that plagiarism is terrible crime of writing. Writing scholars are becoming more concerned with this idea of plagiarism. They are making the rules more strict and punishments worse. This idea that writing scholars are giving the community should be reconsidered. Writers need to start looking at plagiarism in a different light. They need to consider and look at the fact the some forms of plagiarism are not always a bad thing.

I'd reiterate my comment in class. Since you're writing for a specialized audience (writing scholars), you want to taylor your approach to them. Phrases like "In our society" set a somewhat vague and general tone. I think you should get straight to the conflict among writing scholars and instructors: many continue to agree with the traditional idea that any inaccurately cited material is plagiarism and should be punished as a deterrent, but others argue that some types of inaccurate citation is actually important for learning and should not be punished but used to teach proper use of sources. Critics of academic culture's extreme approach to plagiarism also argue that much plagiarism is the result of unthoughtful and vague writing assignments. Your task is to find something new to add to THIS conversation rather than a more general layman's conversation.
