Summary: In their article “Motivation in Literacy”, Cecchini and Perez discuss the methods to become literate. They interviewed people from the University of Central Florida about their academic success with literacy. They also talk to people about how they became literate. There argument was that motivation is a big part of literacy.
Questions:
I don’t think that there is a flaw because it makes sense that if you are motivated to read you will be able to write better.
I think that the paragraph works where it is because I think that it flows well with the article.
Response: I really liked the way that this was written. I enjoyed reading it and I was able to relate to it at some parts. Overall I think that this was a good article to have us read.
